International Dance Festival Disability
The shared presence on stage of people with and without disabilities proves that the power of art makes the aesthetic and harmonious coexistence of all people possible — without discrimination.
The Festival - an institution - of Karditsa city and our country, will be implemented this year for the 13th consecutive time at the pan-Hellenic level and for the 9th time internationally, always with the participation of dance groups and artists from Greece and abroad.
The Festival will include a live presentation of a dance work and in addition a variety of activities with the presence of important personalities and scientists.
The continuous presence and interest of the Greek teams who have supported our effort from the very beginning and their continuous development have been the greatest joy for us all these years!
Program Groups
Interested parties can submit their proposal (project description and relevant audiovisual material), along with the CVs of the creators and participants. Artistic proposals should align with the Festival’s theme (strictly within the art of dance) and contribute to promoting self-determination, educational and social inclusion, and the empowerment of people with disabilities. We invite you to register your participation by completing the form below and to stay updated on the event.
Volunteers are the heart of the I.D.F.D. International Dance Festival Disability (International Dance Festival for People With Disabilities and Non Disabled People). They support the organization’s work in various ways, contributing their time, experience, skills, personal networks, and any services they are able to offer.
The demands for the successful implementation of the Festival grow every year, and Dryades en Plo invites you — with a strong sense of responsibility — to support our efforts
Specifically, we invite all businesses in the city of Karditsa and the wider region who wish to contribute their sponsorship by providing materials and services necessary for the smooth operation of the Festival.
Your business will be promoted during the livestreaming of the event, reaching a global audience, and the Festival video will remain available on YouTube afterward.
Your contribution will also be featured on the Festival’s digital platforms.
