The artistic group DRYADES EN PLO invites Dance Groups of People with Disabilities (PWD) and Non-disabled Dance Groups from Greece and abroad to participate, either in person or online, in the program of the Festival held in Karditsa every end of May.
The Festival hosts Dance Groups of PWD and Non-disabled people(for all types of dance) who present their performances.
An invitation to participate is sent to organizations for PWD involved in dance or interested in engaging with it, as well as to Dance Groups of PWD and Non-disabled people from Greece and abroad. Interested parties can submit their proposal (project description and related audiovisual material), as well as CVs of the creators and participants.
Artistic proposals must be relevant to the content of the Festival (strictly the art of dance) and contribute to promoting self-determination, educational and social inclusion, and empowerment of people with disabilities.
INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE
The Artistic Group "Dryades en Plo" invites you to participate in the 8th International Dance Festival Disability (IDFD), which will be held in Karditsa and Lake Plastira on May 5-10, 2026.
The Festival - an institution of the city of Karditsa and our country will be implemented this year for the 13th consecutive time at a national and international level, always with the participation of dance groups and artists with and without disabilities, from Greece and abroad.
The Festival will include a live presentation of a dance work and a variety of activities with the presence of important personalities and scientists.
The continuous presence and interest of the Greek groups that supported our effort from the very beginning and their continuous development have been our greatest joy over these twelve years!
